Microblading is the process of implanting color pigment beneath the surface of the skin by means of sterile, disposable needles to produce the appearance of hair strokes to enhance the natural features of the face. Unlike tattoo inks, pigments are designed to gently fade over time. Fading is considered to be a good thing as it allows for us to make changes to your color and shape over years as your natural coloration and facial features change as well.

What is Microblading?
Microblading is the process of implanting color pigment beneath the service of the skin by means of sterile, disposable needles to produce the appearance of hair strokes to enhance the natural features of the face. Unlike tattoo inks, pigments are designed to gently fade over time. Fading is considered a positive occurrence as it allows the artist to make changes to color and shape over the years as client’s natural coloration and facial changes occur.
How Long will it take to heal?
With microblading, there is virtually no “down-time”. The implanted color will be slightly darker for the first 2-3 days until the top layer exfoliates resulting in softer more natural appearance of the brow. Healing is usually completed in 14 days.
Does it look different than my makeup?
Yes. For women who are used to wearing heavy brow makeup, it will appear much softer than what they are used to seeing with makeup. Many times, a brow make-under is better than a brow make-over. But darkening your new shape with brow powder will be a breeze now that you have a template to follow.
How long will it last?
After your initial visit and touch up visit: your brows will fade over time and will need a touch up every 12-18 months. Without a touch-up, the pigments will gradually fade away over the course of 3-5 years. Frequency of touch-ups depends on several factors including: the pigment color used (lighter colors fade faster), lifestyle (sun exposure), and if any chemical peels/acids/anti-aging and anti-acne products are used on the skin.
Does it hurt?
There is some discomfort, however the area being microbladed will be treated with a medical grade numbing cream to help keep you be as comfortable as possible throughout the procedure, plus trust me it’s totally worth it!

Just done with my first microblading session. Looked in my giant 10x mirror as soon as I got home. (Old eyes) AND WOW, they look amazing…already! Thank you Erica!
– Janis Morton
Incredibly happy with my microblading results. At first I was very nervous but Erica was great and walked me through the whole process. The experience itself was not painful as your eyebrow area is numb the whole time. After the full nine day healing process and my two week touch up, my eyebrows are perfect. I no longer need to fill them and have gotten so many compliments! I highly recommend Erica as she is very talented and is wonderful at what she does.
– Laura Borrelli
Microblading by Erica is one of the best things I have done to improve my looks. My brows were thin and not shaped in a way that was flattering. Erica immediately knew what to do for my face and also listened to my input. The result is amazing and I feel I look younger. I also feel I need less makeup. Erica is such a professional but a true artist at microblading. She is also a joy to work with and such a sweet and comfortable person. I recommend her 100%. She gave me the brows I was meant to have!
– Terri Stevens
Best decision I ever made! Microblading by Erica is amazing. She is excellent at her craft and design. She knows what’s she’s doing. My eyebrows look so good and I feel my confidence has skyrocketed. People always ask, “what are doing differently?…you look so refreshed; somethings different!” It’s the brows! They do make a difference and I feel I look younger. The greater aspect is it’s completely maintenance free. I’m in love with my brows

Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee healed results as all skin types and general body chemistry will react to the process and pigments differently. For the best results, you must follow your pre-/post-care accordingly.
Appointments are available Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday between 10-4pm and Wednesday between 10-6. You are more than welcome to schedule a free 15 min consultation prior to your appointment but there is ample consultation time included in the actual Microblading appointment as well. A nonrefundable deposit is required to schedule.
And lastly, we like to express to our clients that microblading will not always provide the instant gratification right after the first session! All skin will heal differently. This is unlike a tattoo in many ways, as the facial skin is much different than the skin everywhere else on the body. Microblading is a 2 appointment process that requires patience to build on over a series of sessions for lasting and beautiful results.
